Steven Wagner has applied his fascination with getting technology to do the boring and/or impossible in the telecommunications, ISP/ASP, gaming and visual effects industries (at companies like Earthlink, XO Communications and Industrial Light + Magic) with positive results across the board, shifting focus over the last fifteen years from pure operations to what we now call "DevOps." At Disney he has been responsible for automating and modernizing server/application builds and implementing build and deployment pipelines for Disney Interactive. He resides in Southern California and enjoys writing, playing boring simulation games, developing strange technology project ideas and being distracted from all of the above by his wife and children.
